Weekend Storms and Aftermath
I didn't take these pictures - they were posted on MSNBC. We had tremendous storms over the weekend and are now experiencing severe and dangerous flooding. Dams are overflowing and a number are in danger of failing.

The resort town of Wisconsin Dells - about an hour from me, and where I know many, many of the resort owners because they so generously support the charity I work for - lost a lake today. (Yes, a lake, and it took several large houses with it.)

I know other parts of the midwest have been hit even harder than we have. I'm keeping you all in my thoughts.

This weather is insane. I feel so rotten for the people who lost their homes.

How awful to loose your home, and even if you haven't the dirt that the floods bring take so long to clear up. Stay safe!

The scenes have been scary and awful. I'm glad that you, personally, haven't been affected yet, and I hope that your friends have not lost anything irreplaceable. Stay safe! Will be holding good thoughts for everyone in your area.

WOW... sometimes pictures don't do events justice for how it really impacts people. I hope you all stay safe during the storms and flooding. I am praying for everyone.

Amazing
All I can say is WOW! I am absolutely in LOVE with your artwork that I just had to do the Happy Snoopy Dance! I love Waterhouse myself (hence my screen name - Rivertempest) Miranda and the Tempest being my favorite. Do you take requests? And while many artists just manip up to the point that it looks believable, your do so flawlessly! Your Gothic overtones and sepia work is breathtaking! Glad your nominated at the SOTHA awards - you SO deserve it!

Thanks
Carrie

Hello!! Just popping in to make sure you are OK as you have been away for a little while now. I hope things aren't too busy and you are well.

This weekend was our second MidiMeet weekend for WriterConUK - and as you were kind enough to share some of your artwork last year in our Virtual Art Gallery, I hoped you wouldn't mind me doing the same this year. It was very much appreciated, and everyone enjoyed seeing it!

As an additional 'thank you' we thought you might like a banner (please don't feel you have to use either of them if you would rather not). The code links back to the writerconUK information page, but can always be removed.

Once again - thank you for sharing!
