A New Spike fan  
I had Granddaughter #1 (age 3) over the weekend. I don't usually turn on my computer when she's here, but I grabbed some time to finish a piece of fanart while she was still sleeping Sunday morning, posted it and was just about to power off when she got up. She came over to check out what I was doing and saw the Spike manip on my LJ home page.

"Oooooh, Grandma! He's handsome!" she said, tracing his face on the screen.

I think this proves she has superior genes. And is, of course, bloody brilliant.

Well, alcoholism runs in my family, but at least the grandkiddie thinks Spike's handsome, too. She's also obsessed about souls, and is always wanting to know which vampire has them, and how he got it.

When do we get to see the new fanart?

That's so interesting - that she's so intrigued by the issue of the soul. Because, of course, it's a fascinating subject to explore. I'm not sure how old she is - 12? I think it's wonderful that she has a curious mind. I come across a few too many people who lack that.

Oh WOW. They're all lovely! The blending is undetectable, and the overall effect is so romantic. The first two--are those Royo (sp?) bases? I'm not sure of the name, but the busty, heroic-looking women is sort of characteristic of who I'm thinking of. It's a good base for Buffy.

Yes, the first two are Royo. I love his style. Some of his work is a bit disturbing, and some of his women are too well endowed for Buffy, but others work really well for her.

And I loved that second base for Buffy & Spike. The hands!! Complete romance!

She's quite the pistol, I must admit! Fun, too.

So glad you like the layout. Of those I've done, it's my favorite manip of Spike and I love being able to look at it all the time.
